Applications:
This PVC or polyvinyl chloride is used to manufacture tubs, vats and other parts that do not require high mechanical properties.
It is particularly used for:
- Protection
- Casing
- Furniture
- Display units
- Laboratory equipment
Advantages:
- Easy to work with
- Easy to weld
- Very good resistance to chemical agents (except solvents)
Disadvantages:
- Limited UV resistance
- Transparent appearance inferior to PMMA, PC and PETG
