Applications:

PP or Polypropylene is used in the chemical and food industries, as well as in the manufacture of various parts and chemical agent containers.

Advantages: 

  • Mechanical quality
  • Impact resistance
  • Optimum chemical properties
  • Resistance to medium-temperature acids
  • Limited wear resistance
  • Harder and more rigid
  • Higher heat resistance than polyethylene
  • Weldable
  • Economical

Disadvantages:

  • Difficult to bond
  • Not as easy to work with as PE or PVC
