Applications:
PETP or Polyester is used to make bearings, parts for precision mechanisms (rings, slides, gears, etc.) and for mechanical, chemical and food applications.
Advantages:
- Rigid and creep-resistant
- As wear-resistant as polyamides
- Heat stable
- Stable in humidity
- Best coefficient of friction
- Unsurpassed self-lubrication

- High price
