Applications:

PEEK or Ketron, Polyketone, Aromatic is mainly used in the manufacture of highly stressed technical parts at hot temperatures.

PES is used in the electronics, food and medical industries.

Advantages:

PEEK : 

  • Exceptional resistance to high-energy radiation
  • High temperature resistance up to 260°C
  • Very high tensile and flexural modulus of elasticity
  • Good compressive strength
  • Good chemical resistance
  • Thermoformable

PES : 

  • High mechanical quality
  • Optimum mechanical resistance
  • Transparent
  • Good chemical resistance

PSU : 

  • High resistance to thermo-oxidative degradation (steam sterilisation)
  • High operating temperature up to 210°C
  • Excellent resistance to hydrolysis (90°C of tensile stress preserved after 10,000 hours in water at 100°C)

Disadvantages:

PES : 

  • High risk of cracking under stress
